Volunteer at Triangle Foundation Today!

Question: How does such a small staff manage to run Michigan’s leading LGBT civil rights, advocacy and anti-violence organization?

Answer: With the help of countless dedicated, behind-the-scenes volunteers involved in a variety of cultural, social service, recreational, civic and community-organizing programs and events year-round. All that Triangle accomplishes is done with volunteer support.  With the funding and resources that are saved by those who share their time with us, we are able to provide better services to everyone within our communities.

If you are already a Triangle Foundation member, you may be well aware of the programs we offer and the staff who help to make them happen. But you may be unaware of the hundreds of volunteers who offer their time, talent, and energy with their hearts, minds and hands to keep Triangle Foundation and its vital programs running.

An enriching, rewarding, and fun way to participate and to contribute to the community is to volunteer. Nothing takes place at Triangle Foundation that does not require some level of volunteer energy and expertise. Volunteers fuel Triangle’s engine by building community and family. Some come with specific knowledge, such as lawyers, teachers, parents, event planners, and activists. Others come with patience, time, and the willingness to provide whatever support is necessary so long as it benefits the larger community. We, the Triangle Foundation, could not survive and could not serve the community without volunteers.

Take a look at our current volunteer programs and activities list - and if you are interested in becoming a Triangle volunteer, please fill out an online volunteer inquiry form; a Triangle Foundation volunteer will be in touch with you shortly.

Please be patient with us though. Our small staff does not have a volunteer coordinator. We rely on volunteers just like yourself to manage our daily volunteer activities. If you aren’t contacted in a timely manner, please give us a call back.
