His law degree is from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.  During his time at U of D, Josh was the first two-term President of the Student Bar Association and the first openly gay President.  While in law school, Josh served in the misdemeanor criminal clinic, immigration law clinic, and interned at the Legal Aid and Defenders Association. He also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Detroit Mercy.  He received his Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts from Oakland Community College.
