Triangle Foundation works to secure freedom
and equality for Michigan’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT)
and allied communities. We have become the dominant force for advocacy
and change regarding LGBT issues in Michigan public policy, religion,
business, education, and bias-crime victim assistance.
In accordance with our mission, Triangle Foundation looks toward the day when all LGBT people are freedom from violence, intimidation and discrimination. We envision a society characterized by a
strong commitment to universal civil rights; safe communities,
workplaces, and schools; stable families; and self-reliant LGBT
individuals.
To have the society we deserve, we need to make the issues affecting our community, issues of civil rights and equality. Whether the issue is the recognition of our relationships as equal and deserving of benefits or the fear of harassment from family, classmates, or even a stranger because of who you are. Triangle Foundation takes each of our issues extremely seriously and to heart. Many of our staff have endured the weight that these issues can bring to our hearts and our minds. We want these issues irraticated from our community and our state.
