
POLICE RELEASE DESCRIPTION OF PERSON OF INTEREST IN THE MURDER OF JEREMY WAGGONER
The Detroit Police Department has released the description of the person last seen with murder victim Jeremy Waggoner the night of Monday, June 9, 2008 at Mephisto's Bar in Hamtramck. The person of interest is a white male who is 5'10" to 5'11" tall at a weight of 250 pounds or more with light blonde hair, which could possibly be gray and possibly with a receding hairline, and a light colored beard. This person, who is in his mid to late thirties, may be named "Rich."
Jeremy's body was found on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, in the 3900 block of Beaufait Street at Sylvester on the east side of Detroit.
He was brutally bludgeoned and stabbed. His green 1997 Mazda MPV was found on June 13, 2008 in the 5000 block of St. Clair and Warren. The motive for the murder is not known at this time.
