Clif Levin,
JD, Detroit
A resident of Lafayette Park, Clif has resided
in Downtown Detroit for over 30 years and shares his condo with five
cats. Since retiring from the Wayne County Friend of the Court, after
nearly thirty years of service, Clif has decided to do volunteer work
to “give back” to the community. Clif was looking
for a gay organization in which to volunteer—and Triangle was his first
choice. As a volunteer for several years, he decided that he wanted to serve
in a greater capacity for the organization and requested to be considered for
the Board of Trustees. In addition to Triangle, Clif is chairman of the Gallery
Services committee at the Detroit Institute of Arts (where he is a volunteer
two days per week), is a docent at the New Detroit Science Center and is a Zoo
Ambassador at the Detroit Zoo. Clif also serves on the Board of Directors of
Grosse Pointe Theatre where he has been active for 25 years. Clif is also a member
of the Human Rights Campaign and Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund.
